Mercure Bristol North wedding

Nicole and Mark tiedย the knot at the Mercure Bristol North.ย A perfect wedding venue that couldย host their large family for the whole day from ceremony right the way through to the evening’s entertainment.

On the day the girls were getting ready at the bridesย mother’s house.ย Nicole’s mum is a hair dresser so it was only natural she did her daughters hair for her special day. For the bridesmaids howeverย she had roped in a fellow hairdresser so she had time to get ready herself and enjoy the day.

The girls were in good spirits as they chatted doing their make up. Talking of the day ahead there was excitement in the house and before long it was time to leave.

Arriving at the Grange hotel (Mercure Bristol North)ย there wasย just enough time to take pictures of the empty room before guests gathered for the ceremony.

Mark was smiling as he talked with his guests. Before long he was stood up asย Nicole’s dad walked her down the aisle.

The hotel staff served welcome drinks on the way out of the ceremony allowing guests to congratulate the couple. People then lined up to throw confetti before family formals on the lawn.

The unpredictable British weather unfortunately turned as we were takingย the couple shots. Nicole & Mark were happy though that we had managed to take a fewย and could now enjoy the rest of the day with their guests.

The wedding party ate before speeches. Nicole’s dad gave an emotional talkย on how proud he was. Mark kept his short, just thanking his guests. We then heard from two of his groomsmen. They politelyย said theyย had plenty of stories they could share but were not going to stitch Markย up on his wedding day. We heard how they made a great couple. Had two beautiful girls and now marriage was their next step in completing their family.

First dance was to Ellie Goulding’s “Army”. The couple invited their guest to join in onย the dance floor.

The red curtain photo booth opened in the evening, guests enjoyed dressing up.
