Here is my secret…..
Creating natural wedding photos is all about helping you relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. I want you to be yourselves and have fun together. I don’t want to pose you or ask you to stare into my lens, ideally I want you to forget that I am even there.
You are marrying your best friend, your partner in crime, the person who brings out the best in you. I will simply get you walking, talking, playing little games together. Your connection and interaction will do the rest and I will capture all the in between moments.

She went above and beyond to produce the most incredible wedding photos. She was so attentive to every fine detail and for two very uneasy people in front of a camera, made us feel completely comfortable and at ease.

Why I love Bristol
I’m an outdoor girl at heart but I love city life. Bristol has that great balance, which is why I am proud to call it my home.
When I am not photographing weddings as a Bristol wedding photographer you will often find me paddle boarding on the River Avon or floating around the harbourside. Launching at the Cottage Inn, Bristol docks is a great place to explore from the water as well as land.
Sailing past all the expensive yachts, seeing the SS Great Britain and the Matthew it’s clear to see why the water front is such a big part of the city. I can paddle past Temple Meads up the Nethan Lock to get off on the Feeder where I am just about home.
Living so close to the centre of Bristol definitely has its perks. Being within walking distance for the many events and festivals the city offers is great. In particular when the balloon fiesta is on, I can sit in my garden and watch as they fly over my house.
I love taking a stroll into town, seeing all the colourful houses that start in Totterdown and continue around St Mary Redcliffe and onto the floating harbour.
Growing up I was always inspired by my visual surroundings. When I got my first proper DSLR camera, I would go on photo walks and try to inconspicuously capture people going about their day.
My love for Urban street photography started my passion for photographing people. Being able to see how people lived and document them in their surroundings is still important to me today.
In particular I love the gritty areas of the city like Easton, Montpellier and St Paul’s. The more graffiti, the better. It gives you a real sense of suburban life.
Banksy is a big character in Bristol, there are many of his artworks scattered around. If you are ever visiting you have to do a walking tour and see some of his more famous pieces.
Upfest is a good time to come as the graffiti community pull together to put on a one of its kind festival with live pieces being sprayed by many great artists.
When day turns to night the city comes alive again with its many great restaurants and bars. Head towards Park street or Clifton village and you will have an abundance of choice of food and cocktail menus to choose from.
The Clifton suspension bridge is a great place to visit at night as it is all lit up. This iconic landmark designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel is always popular with wedding couples. I have photographed many brides and grooms here.
If you like live music like me, there are lots of fantastic music venues in Bristol. Discovering new bands is a great way to spend an evening. The Bristol Beacon, The Fleece or The Thekla are some of my favourite haunts. I’ve always liked the idea of doing some music photography but weddings keep me busy enough, I could never find the time to ‘go on tour’.
When the hustle and bustle becomes too much then there are plenty of green spaces to explore. A climb up Cabot Tower to see the views far and wide is lovely or I’ll head up to Ashton Court to chill within the grounds. I often meet prospective couples there as it is a great location for an engagement shoot.
Tree lined paths often take me back to nature which is what I really love. There is no better feeling than breathing in fresh air and exploring areas like Leigh Woods.
I genuinely believe to keep creative as a photographer and hone my artistic vision of the world, it all starts by staying inspired and seeing the world through my camera lens. Luckily Bristol offers me lots of stimulation, a little bit of everything I need as a creator, I never have to go far to be re-energised.
If you are looking for a passionate Bristol wedding photographer then I would love to hear from you. Let’s meet at one of the local coffee shops and chat all things wedding.
