The Beachlands hotel – Weston-Super-Mare Wedding
BRINGING ENGLISH & POLISH FAMILIES TOGETHER FOR THIS OUTDOOR BEACHLANDS HOTEL WEDDING!
Kasia and Phil got married at the lovely Beachlands Hotel Weston Super Mare, outside in the secluded garden. It was a wonderful outdoor wedding, with two families being united together from both countries. The vows were personally written by the couple and then read out in both English and Polish for all of their guests to understand in their native language.
The venue was special to the couple as they had originally met there one New years eve and have been on one big adventure ever since.
Getting ready
Kasia got ready at her home which is not far from the venue. Her whole family were there having flown over from Poland just a few days before. Kasia had picked a beautiful short white dress that looked absolutely stunning on. I loved the little details she had put into her shoes and jewellery making everything seem so personal.
The vows
The Beachlands Hotel is located near to the beach at Weston Super Mare. It has it’s own private secluded garden where the ceremony was to be held outside. It was a perfect day with glorious sunshine. The ceremony began with the couple exchanging personal vows that they had written to each other. They first said them in English followed by translating them into Polish so all guests could understand.
It was a moving ceremony and felt so personal especially as they were allowed a few guests to sit up at the front with them which isn’t something you see very often with outdoor ceremonies.
PHOTOS.
After the ceremony, the couple had time to mingle with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get some candid photos before taking the family portraits. Then after the wedding breakfast we drove to Uphill Nature reserve for the couple photo’s which was a great idea. The scenery was epic and well worth the hike up the hill with all my gear.
EVENING
There was a short break before the evening kicked off. The couple cut the cake before first dance. The dance floor then filled up from the moment the first dance finished right until the very last song. The DJ kept everyone going by playing a mix of English and Polish songs to bring both families together.
Weddings like this is why I love about being a photographer. From the beautiful heart felt vows to the lovely atmosphere of bringing two families together.
