Sarah & Paul’s wedding at the Hare and Hounds, Tetbury.
Getting married in the Cotswolds is always stunning but the Hare and Hounds in particular is a great wedding venue. Set in the beautiful Gloucestershire village near Tetbury it is close to the popular Westernbirt Arboretum.
The Hare and Hounds period building offers plenty of charming character and the garden has stunning grounds, perfect for wedding photo’s.
It was an honour to be shooting Sarah & Paul’s wedding here. Sarah had been a former bridesmaid at Angela & Stephen’s wedding last year so we had already met. It’s always great to get a referral from a happy couple but even better knowing that the new clients have seen me in action and like what I do.
Bridal prep was at the couples home, where Sarah was getting ready with her family and bridesmaids.
A beautiful vintage car came to pick up the bride. With a little journey to the venue, Sarah was full of emotion on arrival.
Reunited with Paul, the couple spent the entire ceremony beaming at each other. Their smiles continued as I photographed them afterwards in the beautiful garden.
We totally lucked out with the weather and all the guests got to enjoy drinks in the beautiful sunshine. It was so sunny intact, I had to find some shade for the family formals to avoid harsh shadows.
The speeches were started with Sarah’s father who had previously joked that if Paul married his daughter he would buy him a car. He kept that promised but it was delivered in toy form which made everyone laugh.
After dinner guests came back outside to relax before the evening shenanigans. We finished the rest of the group shots and threw confetti which we hadn’t had time to do earlier.
The couple didn’t want a first dance but they were up dancing with their guests late into the night.
If you are getting married at the Hare and Hounds then please get in contact, I would love to hear from you.
